overview
It is made from polylactic acid, a resource (biomass) derived from plants such as corn. Therefore, the carbon dioxide generated during incineration is originally taken in from the atmosphere by plants through photosynthesis, so it does not lead to an increase in carbon dioxide, which is said to be the cause of global warming, making it an eco-friendly product known as recycled plastic.
